Just before one of theses threads was pulled, the offensive poster stated he was using some poor saps proxy (I believe that was the term used). In other words, he did not think he could be tracked down. I hope that's not the case.

I read that, too. It depends on who he offended here this morning. We've got some top-notch researchers who have the skills to track him down. We can only hope.

In other words, he did not think he could be tracked down.
That's what HE thinks.
I hope that's not the case.
It ain't. A PO'd sysad at the hacked ISP can probably find out who he is...

proxy servers will NOT provide you with anonymity.... it will slow most people down, but they can be found.
