Thanks for the heads up. I'll get it. I always loved and admired Robert E. Lee as a gentleman and a soldier, in every sense of those terms, and a man of dignity, honor and patriotism.
I was hoping for a movie some day just on Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson, the greatest military mind the western hemisphere ever produced.
I'd put him in the same category as Hannibal, Alexander the Great and Julius Caesar. Next to him, Apoleaon was third rate.

"Gods and Generals" is probably going to be a lot of screen time for Stonewall Jackson, since Chancellorsville is one of the featured battles, that was the last Great Battle for Stonewall. I think there might be a future possibility of a pre - Civil War Movie, with "Gone For Soldiers".
I agree the life of Stonewall Jackson would be a good movie, especially the part where he gives a black slave the money to buy his own freedom. That incident was mention in one of the two Biographies I read on him.
