I am wondering why no one is proposing that we go back to the days of Ellis Island, where all immigrants were sent to check that they were disease free and could be contributing members to society. I believe that for the sake of America our politicians should insist on sealing our borders until all the illegal immigrants who are currently here can be rooted out and dealt with. Only then can we establish an immigration plan that makes sense for America and return respect to the right to be an American and respect for our laws.

You see? Even you show prejudice by ASSUMING something without doing even the smallest amount of research. Read the links to the reputable sites of black interests- some even radical IMHO. Then read the letters. The site is to awaken both white and blacks and many races to the ridiculous assumptions by those who are simply too lazy to check things out -without getting hung-up in their own personal guilt.

I once sent a copy of a thread here on FR to a somewhat liberal person. The response was- "Oh sure that's believable, being from FreeRepublic!" Now mind you, it was an unaltered newspaper article from a usually liberal paper, but because it was posted on FR, all credibility was lost.
