Drudge is a funny dud (I mean "dude!") 8-)

He can't even quote an entire sentence (""dearth of really high-powered brains") to back up his main point that this book has infuriated the White House.

The guy has been riding his Tripp scoop for what seems like decades now.

I wish him well, but he makes Newsmax ("here's our recap of an article somebody wrote for yesterday's NY Post") look cutting edge.

This is the second "book" thing I've seen Drudge do. The other one was a dud. I'm presuming this one will be, too.

However, I notice the same people pushing this negative stuff about Bush, and not just on this thread. All over FR.

Hey, I don't really get why people get so upset with drudge. I think it has to do with the conflict that he sets up between reporter and commentator. That is, people who are fans of his views expect his reporting to follow suit.

I used to have a radio show in CT while I was personally involved with politics, and I ran into the same thing. This is a legit story. The first guy to print these quotes, and the first one to report that the White House is pissed. Just my thoughts, anyway.
