I think writing term limits into the House Rules served their purpose in getting rid of the Democratic majority in the House. As long as Dennis Hastert is doing a good job, he should get to be Speaker. If his Illinois constituents decide he's been around too long they can still vote him out of office. Now that's true term limits at work.

They should have made JC Watts speaker. Bet he'd do as good a job as Hastert. I'm all for change at the top, it's healthy.
