On Edwards' purported mental prowess (recalls clinton PR not IQ):
In an interview yesterday, George Stephanopoulos asked Edwards to name his fav philosopher, of course couching the question around Dubya's Jesus Christ answer, attempting to belittle Bush.

Well, what do you know??!! Edwards had no answer. Not one philosopher came to mind.

Edwards tried to switch the question to his fav politician, would you believe?? Stephie didn't fall for it.

Adding to the delicious irony -- the ambulance chaser was being interviewed in his well-stocked library. (Did his Georgetown interior designer buy the books by the linear foot?)

BTW, this illustrates not only a mediocre mind, but an arrogance and/or an inability to anticipate. You would think that after the Bush answer, all prez candidates would have a philosopher at the ready.
