Great theory, but doesn't explain the FBI and Army willingness to become accomplices in the massaccre of women and children.
Koresh had been arrested and tried on politically motivated charges before, and had won his court case, and was expecting more of the same from the feds. Accordingly, he developed information on FBI and BATF involvement in criminal activities that would have been suicidal for those agencies had it been revealed, during court proceedings or otherwise.
What was the biggest event in Texas in that closing decade of the century? Certainly the murder and incineration of those Branch Davidians, just because koresh had to be silenced. And what was the biggest story in Texas of that century? Certainly the assassination of President Kennedy in Dallas, on 22 November, 1963, and the involvement of the FBI and BATF [then called ATTU] before, during, and after that date.
Connect the dots. Note that the rifle Oswald supposedly used could not be found until BATF/ATTU Agent Frank Elison arrived in the Book Depository to *help* the Sheriff's investigators determine where it was located- on the fourth floor, according to his testimony. Note the location of six other ATTU agents at the book depository that day, with their Treasury badge and credentials resembling those of the Secet Service, and see if you can figure out who it was that prevented anyone from interfering with those who passed from the *grassy knoll* area to the railyard behind the depository building- and why.
And note the details of the Secret Service agent shot [and reported as killed] that day, by a revolver identical to the one Oswald supposedly used on DPD Officer Jefferson Davis Tippet. Pretty soon, the FBI and BATF will want you dead too....
