Hasn't anyone figured out yet, that despite the democrats' dream, 8 years of bill clinton effectively broke any power that a politician wiht a southern accent could ever have on a national audience. That is counter to the received opinion, of course, but it is nevertheless true. Southerners might report to us any experience they have had with this. For me, personally, any southern accent immediately raises my radar that a whole lot of bs is going on.

Well...hillery is a yankee, no Southern drawl thar'.....and so....Bush sorta' has a "twaange" of Texas in his speech....but, I know what you mean. klintoon sorta "queeers" the Southern accent for you.
