It really pisses me off when my wife and I go through a checkout and after being married for 42 years some little twit says 'Did you guys find everything?'
Do you remember when clerks used to be able to count out a customer's change correctly, instead of just dishing out what the computer says to give back?
An item costs $17.34, you pay $20.00, and your change is $2.66.
- Before: "Okay, $17.34, and (penny) 35, and (nickel) 40, and (dime) 50, and (2 quarters) that makes 18, (dollar) 19, and (dollar) 20. Thank you."
- Now: "Okay, here's (dollar) 1, (dollar) 2, and (2 quarters, dime, nickel, and penny) 66. Thank you."
