The McCartneys down the street had the first color television in our neighborhood. We'd all go over to watch Shari Lewis.

Down our street it was Don S., a kid everybody couldn't stand...but....his folks had the only neighborhood TV and the access to the Saturday Notre Dame football games...so ol' Dave all of a sudden became everyone's best pal!

My folks didn't get a color TV did us kids were gone. Come to think of it, they got all the good stuff after we were gone. Hmmm.

For me, the first Color TV show I saw, was early 60's "Bonanza"! What a thrill it was!
