It's like he's SURE he can get the nomination. Grown in a petri dish to run, just like Bill Clinton.

It comes down to the Independant and Third Party Voters

I listen to Edwards yesterday when a reporter asked him about lawyers and tort reform and how could he distance himself so it won't hurt him .. Edwards said something like,(not his exact words) .. well if tort reform was needed to protect the american people then he wasn't afraid to address it

What is he going to say next .. that he is for closing the borders

I'm telling ya, that is what the Dems are after .. just like what they did in 92 and Ross Perot

EDWARDS' MILLIONS

John Edwards has $2.5 million and needs to get rid of it in the nine weeks before campaign finance McCain-Feingold goes into effect and outlaws spending soft money, reports USA Today's Jill Lawrence. It appears that Edwards will be spending the money mostly in Iowa and other early primary states. Lawrence writes, "Iowans are accustomed to attention and largesse from White House hopefuls. Even so, state party officials say Edwards is unique in his devotion. 'This is taking assistance to the next level,' says Sheila McGuire Riggs, state Democratic chair. 'We are very appreciative.'"

In addition to giving to candidate campaigns, Lawrence reports Edwards has bought 219 computers and lent them to local Democrats in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and North Carolina ($110,000), paid for an absentee ballot promotion for an Iowa state Senate candidate ($12,500), bought 100,000 automated phone calls urging Iowa Democrats to attend their caucuses ($50,000), and printed up 800,000 color leaflets for Iowa state and House candidates ($62,000). She notes, "Each features prominent quotes from Edwards and was paid for by his PAC, New American Optimists."
