I have 2 questions for the politically astute here:

1. Is it wise to start exposing the dem candidates this early in the game, or should conservatives save their ammo for later in the political race?

2. Does anyone have information on the types of cases Edwards has represented? Any quotes from those cases?

Your point is well-taken. However, Edwards is a liberal who can convince OTHER PEOPLE that he is not. Some candidates, like Kerry, are OBVIOUSLY liberal; it oozes from every hair follicle of his being. But Edwards is a smooth talker who needs to have his record exposed.

I would, however, drop the references to "not ready for prime time." President Bush's first public speech, here in Indianapolis, was decidedly underwhelming, and in fact made me hesitate about backing him in the primaries until I saw him on the campaign trail on C-SPAN.

The more the Rats get to fighting with each other the better off we will be, however.

As far as Edwards cases, they are probably above board or we would have heard something different before now. If he won a case for a poor, put-upon victim of malpractice, good for him and his client. That has NOTHING to do with competence for the Presidency.
