In an surprise news conference late today, Senator Trent Lott, R-Miss, announced his intentions to seek the Republican Presidential nomination for the 2004 election. At his side was his most loyal supporter and running mate, TLBSHOW, C-NY.

Senator Lott stated their ticket will pull voters from the South and the Northeast, referring to it as their "NorthEastSouth Strategy". When asked about the West, Senator Lott stated GUNSMOKE is his favorite show and he really likes TRUE GRITS.

Mr. SHOW concurred on GUNSMOKE, but was non-committal regarding TRUE GRITS. ;-)
