It also wasn't too long ago, maybe 9 months, where they discovered several people working at our nuclear submarine pens, all were discovered to be in this country illegally. I remember that incident. It's yet another example of the complete breakdown in our nation's security and the cynical attitude of our government in enforcing any of its immigration laws. You have to wonder how many more 9/11s this country will have to endure before our government puts a halt to this insane immigration ride America has been on for decades now.
Future historians are going to be scratching their heads in befuddlement when they try to make sense of what is going on in America today.

"Either we have open borders or we don't. What's the truth?"
That depends on how simple minded one is and where one lives.
Even the word "truth" means something different inside the beltway, in Chicago, San Diego, Loredo, Miami or Seattle.

"Either we have open borders or we don't. What's the truth?" I didn't have the heart to tell him, but that was one dumb comment/question......
To: WRhine
If we're attacked again by people in this country illegally, it's going to get real ugly for those in DC and others that have turned their backs on this ever escalating crisis. And these AHs are everywhere.

"Future historians are going to be scratching their heads in befuddlement when they try to make sense of what is going on in America today." It depends on who's left to write our history.
The way it's going, it appears the history of what happened today will be written by the globalist, one (3rd) worlders and members of LUCAC, La Raza and MEChA.
They won't be scratching their heads. They are engineering this whole mess.
To: 4Freedom
It does appear more and more to be engineered, little else makes sense. Citizens are asked to believe politicians are either afraid, or just stupid, and they may be just that, but it does seem it has more to do with engineering than stupidity on the part of some powerful element.
To: MissAmericanPie
"It does appear to be more and more engineered..." Just look at the crazy guidelines that Marine Inspector and Ajnin have said they're ordered by the INS/Border Patrol to follow in respect to when, where and how they can attempt to apprehend illegal aliens.
That's not accidental.
Look how John Malvo and his mother were released.

The fact he wasn't detained THE FIRST TIME two years ago is proof the borders are porous at best. Away from the checkpoints they ARE wide open. Another little fact I'm sure you knew.
To: Mo1
He stood several feet away from the Executive Branch of this country. Many times. The fact that he wasn't invited to lunch with them doesn't make me feel any better.
To: Republic of Texas
I don't disagree with you .. that is why I said in my post that I agreed with Michelle that the SS and INS need to do a better job
I never argued that point

I should have defined that better. My assumption is that One World Globalism will ultimately fail much like Marxism did after a few decades--at the most 100 years. I find it ironic that at a time when top-heavy, command and control, centralized management structures have proven time and again to be an utter failures in business, government and the military, you'd have fools that would attempt to try to centralize all Nation State Governments into one Big World Government.
It's bound to flop because it doesn't jibe with human nature, i.e. most things work best on the local level. So I guess I am somewhat optimistic that a New World Order, after decades of misery, will be another ideology that is tossed out on the ash heap of history because it simply doesn't work. Though try telling that to our President and his One-Term Dad.

"My assumption is that One-World Globalism will ultimately fail much like Marxism did after a few decades--at most 100 years." Now, that almost made my coffee go down the wrong pipe.
After 100 years of One-World Globalism, Bushism, our great-great-grandchildren will be living back in the 'dark ages', again.
