FNC's overall look is a graphic designer's worst nightmare come to life, just like on every other Fox channel. And their sets are barely better. But obviously, as long as FNC remains #1 they're never going to change a thing.
CNN's graphics, on the other hand, are just cheap. I've never been able to figure out the reason for this, especially since CNN International's graphics are far superior, and yet it's coming out of the same building. I can only guess it's one of the last vestiges of Ted Turner's original vision of "letting the news be the star" still holding on, and the graphics people think if they make it too good, they'll be "selling out" or something.
MSNBC's suck too, but they're just clueless.
Agreed! I wonder who convinced Ailes that covering more than a third of the screen with screaming graphics was a good idea.
