My favorite call today was the guy fr LA lampooning Bill Press when he had a talk show in LAA-LAA land.

The notion that it was never about Lott, but rather about tarring every Republican and conservative as a Ku Klux Klansman in the Robert Byrd mold, was not recognized immediately by as many people as it should have been.

Actually, this was recognized, thus dealt with. Had Lott stepped aside as Leader at his first press conference he could have spared his reputation a bit.

Meanwhile, the first hit piece on Dr. Bill Frist has come out. All these people know how to do is demonize.

The hit piece came out, but as fate would have it, tragedy struck in Florida and Dr. Frist was able to lend assistance. The family that is suffering was spared further devastation thanks to the incoming Majority Leader and the hit piece is for naught.

I propose that we begin referring to the race card here, every time, as " The Liberal Race Card ® ", it being the only hope they have to defeat us.
