I am sorely disappointed by our current approach to N. Korea. We should be whacking them upside the head but instead we're burying our head in the desert sands of Iraq.

N. Korea is a clear and present danger and must be treated as such, even if that means calling up more reserves and positioning our forces for a 2-front war on WMD.

Slapping them upside the head may seem tempting, but you would be condemning hundreds of thousands of S. Koreans, Japanese, etc., to death. Refusing to be blackmailed by them and urging the other interested parties (which include Russia and China) to set them on the right path, is the way to go.

I’ve yet to meet anybody who would dispute what we all know about the horror of nuclear war. N Kor said so, and they have been saying it for several years. Probably been in this phase since the Clinton admin said they might bomb the NK nuclear plants in '94.
