Interesting point. Let me make one to you, which I rarely see brought up here.
Most of the problem with Muslims is they hate people of other faiths, and think it is okay to kill people of other faiths. Christians, for example, will tell you that Muslims are going to hell regardless of whether they kill or not, but because they do not follow Christianity.
Yes, a lot of bad things were done in the past by Christians and others. But what about those of us that do not subscribe to a particular faith? Are we thus allowed to cast stones?
I do not disagree with Islam and Muslims because I think it is not the true faith of God. I disagree with it because it has no value for human life. Islam calls for the subjugation of humans, and I will not subjugate myself for anyone. I will not be a slave. I disagree with Islam because I feel it is wrong. I disagree with Muslims because they carry out acts against non Muslims that are wrong.
I'm all for different religions. I don't know which one is the "right" one. Personally, I think the answer is that there is no answer. But Islam and Muslims do things that are against any sane human's moral code, whether they be religious or not. For that reason, and that reason alone, it should be condemned.
