What strikes me is the total lack of substance. Not one of them made a relevant point. The last writer above almost got there but fizzled out.

"We're making enemies on an almost daily basis, many of our strong friends are now lukewarm at best – besides the ever loyal British – most of our allies are allies because of a combination of money and coercion."

Really? List them. Give examples. Demonstrate that they are truly our allies and not just complacent weak-kneed governments content to let the U.S. keep world order while at the same time loathing us for it.

"Our attitude and policies are allowing bin Laden and other leading Islamists to keep millions of people fomenting at the mouth dreaming of destroying us."

Yes! True, my feeble-minded little tick turd. Our attitude is one of defiance, that we will not let wannabe dictators bully us or our friends around. The absense of our attitude and policies would spark the immediate and total destruction of Israel, Kuwait, and others. And saddest of all, you and your kind would be the first to start whining about how Bush and the Republicans failed to protect such people while silently assuring yourself that it was all well deserved. I, for one, welcome bin Laden's and the other leading Islamists' (terroists) loathing, for it tells me on a daily basis that I am on the side of God and right. What a proud people you must be.

What a bunch of tripe!!! Those governments thank their lucky stars that they have the US to clean up all the world's messes for them, they just don't want to appear all that enthusiastic lest their subjects get tied up in a knot about it. To paraphrase Colonel Jessup from a "Few Good Men", that they don't want to know the truth because deep down they want the US on that wall, they need us on that wall.
