Are you going to seriously, on a public board, say that only active duty military were engaged in combat? LOL

Of course not, but the overwhelming majority of the combat forces certainly were active duty. That would tend to conflict with your claim that it was mostly reserves that won Desert Storm. It's a free country, so I suppose it is your right to attempt to rewrite history.

It looks like of the 540,000 troops deployed. Approximately 228,000 were reserve or IRR units.
