I understand that in order to have a police state we would need to weaken the 4th amendment, expand powers of domestic surveillance and wiretapping, monitor all internet traffic & email, and deny criminal defendants the right to counsel - all things which have happened since 9/11.

The seeds are being planted, the only question now is who will harvest them?
