Landess makes several valid points against Hooker's study. You seem to have a problem, not with what he said, but the way that he said it.

You also seem to have a problem with the fact that his academic background is in literature and creative writing. Let's not forget that Kinsey was not a licensed mental health professional. He was a zoologist. Also, all of Hooker's previous work involved laboratory rats.

I'd also like to address the fact that Landess was an employee of the Family Research Council. You point this out as though that fact alone discredits him. Sorry, you're going to have to do better than that. You and your allies in the gay rights movement rely very heavily upon extremely biased sources of your own.

Finally, there's the fact that Hooker's study was published in 1957, but the APA took no action until 1973. The pages of Hooker's study were turning yellow, and it was deeply flawed to begin with. This wasn't a reason to normalize homosexuality. It was a lame excuse.
