Yes, it's getting dicey there now. BTW, before I posted this, and actually with an advance copy before it even went live on
http://www.militaresdemocraticos.com/articulos/en/20021228-03.html I had confirmed that the knowledge of where the US citizens were to assemble was not a secret, but was in fact already publically known there.

But Chavez is not a democrat, and although he was democratically elected, he no longer believes in allowing his people the right to vote.Exactly like Hitler, Chavez was elected on a socialist ticket, then promptly proceeded to destroy any democratic means to ever remove himself from power. All of my prayers go to the brave and suffering Venezuelan freedom fighters.
Viva Venezuela Libre!!!

All this crap going on in the world. Venezuela. N. Korea. Middle East. Europe and Japan (economic problems). Mexico. Russia. India. And on and on.
We are so fortunate to live in the United States. I wish more of us realized it.

Let's just hope that we don't send troops there too, even though we would be better justified than in Iraq. We weren't meant to get sucked into this self-defeating world policeman business.

The opposition, which includes pot-banging house wives . . .You said,"Let's just hope that we don't send troops there too. . ."
Not to fear. He cannot stand up for long against the "opposition". And in the off chance that we DO HAVE to liberate Venezuela the boys will be well received.

Show our little brown brothers the truth at the point of U.S. bayonets and all will be well eh? After all, the same strategy did wonders in Kosovo, Haiti, Bosnia, Somalia, and Iraq (in 1991) didn't it!?

I realize it.
I was in Caracas and Maracaibo a lot in the late 80s and early 90s....I liked it then. Beautiful women...and cheap living costs.
I look forward to Chavez's head on a pike.

But Chavez is not a democrat Yes he is! He is a democrat like Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Algore, Kerry, Kennedy and the rest who would act just like Chavez if they felt they could get away with it.
Remember Gore's "there is no controlling legal authority" remark?
In fact, this is exactly how Clinton behaved during the impeachement saga!
