Lots of people brag, Bo Gritz for example, does not make their achievements any less. It ain't braggin if you can do (or have done) it.

Ticket Punchers become board members of corporations that peddle junk weapons systems and inadequate equipment to the politicians for approval. They also become politicians, and sometimes they become Sec. of State. Some do manage to make decent Generals (Ike, Robert E. Lee). Some even manage to make decent politicians (yes, an oxymoron, i know) such as Washington, Rutherford B. Hays.
