you give the guy credibility He is the man in charge, like it or not. Not my town, not my mayor, not my problem. But as long as he is there he is the man of the moment.

"Why anyone puts up with your cult ramblings is beyond me..." Do conservative Jews constitute a cult?

OK, just so that I can be sure I am on the right page,,politically.
I neither accept Christ as my personal savior AND I believe that Islamic terrorists killing anyone (whether it be in Chechnya, Israel, or New York) is news.
I guess I need to go down to city hall and change my voter registration. I thought if one was a fiscal conservative, pro-life, and pro-strong defence then I was a republican. I guess I was wrong.

"Had we enforced the terms of Germany's capitulation..."and for how long? Eventually we would wind up policing the world and having our kids killed in places that we no longer had an interest in...
Hey, whatya know, thats where we are now.

Dang it! I had to go to a lunch meeting! I missed it! What did troll breath say!?!?
To: Bella_Bru
What did troll breath say? It wasn't so much the verbiage as the obvious attitude. I swear, sometimes I think they have contests to see how quickly they can get booted.

I've read up until this point, and it appears to me that all you want today is a good, long argument. You must know that nothing you say will affect anything anybody posts, and few readers have ever even seen your coments. The few that have will happily ignore them.
FreeRepublic is plenty big enough for all of the news that everybody wants to post. Just ignore what you don't want to see.

Don't you believe that for a moment. Arafat said that because Arafat condones terror everywhere. He's a man peace... And the West laps it up like a kitten does milk.
Palestine is not a separate war... It is the lowest common denominator... the flash point for all terrorism. Even Bin Ladin used the Palestinians as one of the reasons for 9/11.
As for the terrorists... it's all one big hornets nest. Don't waste time trying to separate the males from the females. It will only get you stung.

Sometimes I think FR pulls the trigger too quickly on trouble makers... most of them may be intruders with an agenda for propaganda and revisionist history, but some are genuinely ignorant and may be willing to learn new information that may change their perspective.
Besides, is FR boots them too quickly we don't get the chance to humiliate them;^)

Besides, is FR boots them too quickly . . . That's probably for our own good, so we don't get the "piling on" penalty. But, yeah, it is fun to watch 'em twist in the wind.

Hmmm, I hadn't actually read your post #100 before replying earlier. I've gone back and looked at some of your previouse replies on other threads. I may have to change my opinion of you after your outburst.
Someone tells you that they are a practicing Jew and you call Judaism a cult and say that that person is sick. That's something that was practiced in the Soviet Union. Unless you change my perception I'm going to conclude that you are the one that needs help.
I can continue defending America without your help, thanks.

Arafat was specific about Alqaida. He said that Alqaida had done Arafat's cause no good and he wished Alqaida would leave Palestine out of any further proclamations.
As far as terrism being global: In one sense it is all over the planet. But the various groups of terrorists are at most loosely affiliated. Not all are even Muslim or pseudo-Muslim. I frankly don't understand Iran's interest in Palestine, and I suspect it is an abberation due to Khomeini and will go away. What's happening farther east, Pakistan and all, is a different game having nothing to do with Palestine even though a few oddball mullas try to form a linkage.

Dont try and smear me, you obviously arent familiar with that character. I honestly didnt give that post a detailed read. That guy is the "Jewish" (Actually, I wonder) version of the standing on the corner with an "end of the world" sandwich board guy. Theres a bunch of those folks around here...

... most of them may be intruders with an agenda for propaganda and revisionist history,
A lot of regulars throw out facts that they cannot back up when asked to do so. When they can't back them up....they run and hide.
IMHO, those types (I'm sure you've encountered them), are just as cowardly and disingenuous as the occasional disrupter.

No need to try to provoke responses to earn points with any particular group around here. FR has plenty of cult ping lists. Generally all you have to do is identify the one you want to be on and let the "pinger" know. At that point you can wander from thread to thread as a little gaggle attacking anyone who needs saving.
To: gnarledmaw
Eventually we would wind up policing the world and having our kids killed in places that we no longer had an interest in... No interest at all. How's your electric card doing?
To: RightWhale
He is the man in charge, like it or not. Not my town, not my mayor, not my problem. But as long as he is there he is the man of the moment. You missed my point all together. Arafat has no crediblity, hence, what he says has little value.
To: RightWhale
He said that Alqaida had done Arafat's cause no good and he wished Alqaida would leave Palestine out of any further proclamations. Yea. He "said". This is all PR. He says one thing, then does another. What's more, whatever he says to the western journalists is contradicted by everything he says on arabic tv.
To: gnarledmaw
Let me get this straight - - you don't believe that terrorist attacks in Israel have an effect on US foreign policy decisions?
To: gnarledmaw
4 students killed in Israel by bomber...I feel sorry for these people who got blown up but come on, this is an every day event in Israel. So glad to know someone who yawns at the thought of 4 young people who's lives have been snuffed out by Muslim terrorists. You are a real humanitarian.
