Damn Clinton foreign policy, or more appropriately lack thereof has put the entire world in chaos, and its time that we fix the touchy feely mess that bastard brought on us. And to think... Birr Crinton was concerned about not having a "legacy".

The Armistice. 50 years and forget it. Buy an extra can of Spam for the emergency pantry.

You left out one more request from Half Bright Mad All Bright to her NK buddy:
Remember to donate 10% of what we give you to the DNC, the Clintoons, the Da$$hole, the enviral organizations and Patty Murray!

Like Walter Williams said on Rush's show a couple of days ago, [paraphrasing] "North Korea is a pain in China's backside because they could stop hard currency from the west getting into China's coffers."
China needs to rein the North Koreans in a bit.

Yes, but Wal-Mart's sales are down and they lowered their forecast for next year.

"SEOUL: North Korean troops have brought banned machine guns into the tense border with South Korea in violation of an armistice accord, the United Nations Command (UNC) said on Friday." Talk to anyone who has ever served on the 38th.
They will tell you N. Korea has been shooting down on us with machine guns from the mountains for many years.

"South Korea's military is more than capable. I believe the US's mission in Korea changed in the early 90's from keeping the North from coming down to keeping the South from going up." The threat here is NOT TO SOUTH KOREA!
The real threat is to Japan.
We can live very comfortably without S. Korea.
Not so for Japan.

Exactly , which is why , despite the winter cold , am practically sweating bullets here in the Kyushu hinterland only 400 or so miles from Korea ...

China needs to rein the North Koreans in a bit. Pretending to be unconcerned is better that looking impotent. Quietly, they've given North Korea the 'keep this up and it will be impossible for us to back you', and gotten the 'you don't tell us what to do anymore' in reply.
Don't expect China to make a big showing in this. It's out of their hands.
