I don't know if it is a "gay" thing; but I once took a class with a young girl who was Greek Orthodox and she asked me about my wedding ring on my left hand. She told me that in her church they put the wedding ring on the right hand. I was surprised by that, as I had thought it would have been the same.
However, seeing that this is San Francisco, all bets are off as to why the ring is on the right hand.
Yeah, I think that guy is "Greek" alright.
I had thought that in Europe, wedding rings were worn on the right hand also. Not sure...
