Good comments. The level of rhetoric coming out the NK makes me think they protest too much and are a bit afraid. There is no real popular support for the regime and they know it. Thing may be getting tight and their hold on power may be being challenged internally. Another Iran? Doubt it, but possible.

They hate us, SK and most of all Japan. The terrain in NK is much more mountainous than SK... nukes would be less effective.
Out of the 36,000 troops we have there, my guess would be that most of them are support orientated.
If we take them on... it's gonna be a real pisser.
