Does anyone else read these sentiments as indicating that Muslims do not believe that Islam can achieve its objectives without the use of terrorism? It surely sounds that way to me! I don't think they've ever denied it ----Muslims only believe there can be peace on earth AFTER everyone is living under the Koran.

You are exactly right. The "moderates" everyone hopes to hear from do not exist. That's why we don't hear them speaking up. There are none.
No matter how nice a person's Muslim neighbor may be, that person is a danger to any American citizen because of their beliefs. I have had so-called "moderate" Muslims tell me that it is not Osama's interpretation of Islam that is wrong--it is his amount of knowledge on the subject. I have had "moderate" Muslims tell me over and over again that there are no different "interpretations" of Islam, and they don't understand why people keep saying that. They say Islam is what it is, and you have to take the Koran word for word. Most of the "moderates" believe in jihad in its entirety. But they won't say it to your face.
We are not fighting a war against radical Islam, because all Muslims are radical. Unfortunately, I think that we are on the brink of a Crusades for the millenium.....and hopefully we are the victors.....
