Wow! This is even better than Jay Nordlinger's Carterpalooza! Made even more stinging by the fact that it is mostly true......

On the assumption that no boat schooler could get into The Silent Service without being vetted by Admiral Rickover himself, how did the little POS [Jimminy Chicklets] ever get there in the first place? The only possible explanation is that Chicklets' records were falsified by a CFR/KGB operative so as to indicate that Rickover had signed off on him. You heard it here first.

As long as forty years ago, associates began to describe him as prematurely dense.

...also, not only could you ask how dense the president was, you could also ask how big in volume was the president.

I remember about twenty five years ago, Carter was also described as being QUITE BIG -- after spilling a Pepsi -- at Three Mile Island -- One Saturday Night -- Live!

"Is Jimmy Carter not a nuclear physicist"

...and still pronounces it 'nuke-u-lar'.

There are different varieties of skills and intelligence. Competence in the reactor room does not necessarily imply competence in the Oval Office, as I'm sure you'd agree. And as Jimmuh demonstrates rather neatly ;)

Jimmy Carter was always a peanut brain. His IQ must be lower than room temperture. Thank goodness for Ron Reagan, a Real President. He ended the Cold War, East Europe is freed. Always remembered the Berlin Wall being smasmed down!! Liberals in America need to see this! Socialism does not work!! Freedom!! Capitalism!! It works. God Bless the East Europeans. In fact, they are the really real friends the USA has. They experieced Communist oppression in their lives. To the liberals in the USA, Your ideas are FAILED IDEAS!!!! If you Libs, hate the USA, do us a favor. GET OUT!!

I'm sorry. I just couldn't read an article this long. My Malaise is acting up again.

When he turned the lights off in the White House, I expected him to fill-in the inside toilets too. How progressive.

There is a vast chasm between an "educated man" capable of accomplishing specific tasks ---- and a man capable of making profound or common sense decisions....

Carter was "educated" and a fool.
He was an American that betrayed America.
He was Commander in Chief -- and neutered his Military.
He was always and remains the darling of those that despise and intend to destroy America...
He continues to work against the security and sovereignty of America....
He had his four years as President and nearly destroyed the Nation....He should now shut the hell up.

I am a southerner that deeply and sincerely despises the bastard....
I patiently await the opportunity to piss on his grave.

Hey there, my friend. Merry Christmas.

And to you and yours, up there in the glacial expanse of the Great White North. Not that NY is much better this time of year ;)

I agree with you to a certain extent, but because one disagrees with someone's political philosophy, which in Jimmy's case I do, does not mean necessarily that that person is not intelligent. I am not inclined to say someone is stupid just because they do not agree with me.

Very true, and something we all are prone to doing from time to time. As much as I disliked and disagreed with, say, Paul Wellstone, I don't think he was stupid (or evil, for that matter), just wrong. But it's usually easier to demonize your opponent, which is why we see it so often.

I may say they are stupid based other things, but I would have a hard time saying a Nuclear Engineer was stupid.

Jimmy's a tough case, no matter what. The problem we have is, how many dumb ideas is one person allowed to have before it is appropriate to advance the idea that he is, in fact, a dummy? Because, let's be honest, Jimmy has been wrong more times than is really his fair share, so where does that leave him? ;)

Jimmy Carter winning the Nobel Peace Prize was a 'no brainer'. If you can figure out who had the least amount of brains, the Nobel comittee or Carter, you win a peace prize ...
