Sure did. In just about the same way Americans invaded America (which wasn't called that at the time).
You can't invade what is your land. Liberation and invasion are two different things.
Then you would support an armed attack by Indians to eject all white (and black, Asian, etc.) Americans from the territory now composing the 50 states? Or you are in favor of Mexico retaking Texas and California? (Not that they aren't already in the process.)
The Muslims originally conquered Palestine not from Jews (who were a very minor element of the population at the time), but from the Christian Eastern Roman Empire.
If you are interested in an unbiased contemporary evaluation of the situation in Syria/Palestine, you might want to read the report of a 1919 American commission. According to King and Crane, Arabs made up about 90% of the population at the time, and unlimited Jewish immigration would lead to immense conflict extending into the distant future. Rather prescient, wouldn't you say?

FWIW, I support the present state of Israel. I just am opposed to untruthful statements about how it was founded.
