I am absolutely disqusted in the moral standing of the church in the United States. The fact that a council of clergyman can morally justify leaving a monster that has mamed and killed his entire political life is horrendous. Where are the conservative values that drew so many to the church? Who will set the moral guidepost to lead the youth of tommorow? Are there any ministers left with backbone in the main denominations?

If by "main denominations" you include the Episcopal church (known nowawdays as "ECUSA", formerly "PECUSA"), the answer is yes. But they are a minority, and their numbers are dwindling.

A visitor to my Anglican church yesterday noted that there were still three (only 3!) believing bishops in ECUSA. By naming the Right Rev. David Schofield (Fresno, CA and vicinity, name of diocese forgotten) as one of the three this visitor established his bona fides. But as the visitor pointed out, when these three retire, at age 72 (? 72 is for ministers, but also for bishops?) as required by canon law, what will replace them?

My father, a semi-retired ECUSA minister, notes that this has been a long time coming. The rot has eaten deep within most of the Episcopal seminaries for a long, long time...

A long time ago in the 60's, I took my wife to the Episcopal Church to convert her to become a member.

The so called "Rector" made jest and a mockery of the virgin birth, and also drew the Holy Trinity to show Liberalism at the top.

The Episcopal Church is sick and filled with queers and liberals.

We have since joined a great Baptist "lite" Church which has brought the true message of Christ to us, and our family.
