Savage is a jerk.

I first heard him this last summer, and really liked him. I even called in to his program and talked to him about an audio cut of some liberal idiots he had been playing.

However, he started to lose me when he was crying that Bush should be front and center finding the snipers in D.C. with "where is Bush now", and "why isn't he helping in this" or "he should be comforting the people in DC" (I suppose like Klintoon would have done)

Then when he accused Bush of playing politics and was out shirking his job by campaigning to help Republicans get voted in, I realized he is just another loudmouth who doesn't understand delegation of authority, nor politics, nor even second level tactical planning such as is done in chess.

Bush kicked ass in both of these as we know now, and I expected would be the case back then, but Savage wouldn't admit he had been an idiot and that he hadn't understood a shred of Bush's actions.

Rush Limbaugh is da man. No need to waste time listening to Savage make an idiot of himself.

I caught most of Savage tonight and he was in rare form comparing the Murray vs. Lott situation. I'm glad someone is calling the Black Caucus out. They are segragationist if you think about it.

Mama Savage did sound really nice, but you could hear the tone in her voice that said that SHE was the boss of her household. I've always admired (and sometimes feared) women like that.

I was also finally able to get through and talk to Savage. I told him that in my Navy days as a Boatswain's Mate, during a fire we had to get to our firefighting stations as fast as possible to defend our ship against fire. And anyone in our way was gonna get run over. Same thing with the protesters, just run through them to defend our nation. He asked if I was willing to commit civil disobedience to prevent civil disobedience and I said, "You bet. Our kids are worth it. Our country is worth it."

Christmas Day Ping! I don't suspect many will listen today, it's a "Best of" show. I got a copy of The Savage Nation book for Christmas and it started a few arguments with the few leftists I have in the family. I'm looking into the legal means of banning them from the family. In the meantime, I love listening to Savage so I'm listening to Savage with one ear and watching the TNN James Bond marathon with the eyes and the other ear.

HEH-HEH! I've got two liberal in-laws whose Son I convinced to go with the Beretta 10mm. Before he moved, we used to go shooting in the hills.

I know what ya mean. We went to Red Lobster and I told my wife,"Honey, please don't mention anything about politics. I want to enjoy the food."
