I think you two are like the famous railroad cartoon, where one rail meets and the other two don't.

Interesting analogy, especially since the railroad tracks around here have only two rails. You must be a city boy ;)

I look on the "conversation" between madfly and myself like the Roadrunner and the Coyote. (meep meep)

I made comment 32 on the other thread...we have talked about the funding and political persuasion of these groups on FR.

Just curious - do you have an estimate of how much Resist Inc. is really handing out? Are we talking cabfare here or are we talking big green?

Personally, I've never heard of Resist. I just did the Google search and looked at their home page. Looks kinda like a small cadre of people that link to other 'progressive' organizations.

I'm into fund-raising and giving away grants on a small scale, but my knowledge is limited.

On the other hand, I've been watching the Derechos Humanos activities as they've been reported on, and I'm not happy with what they're trying to do. That they wish to create a separate Mexican state out of CA, AZ, NM, and TX doesn't surprise me in the least. I'm just hoping people down here can see that coming...

Lol, we have to be careful when using the word "Coyote" on these threads, as we found out yesterday. :)

(she posted to provide some comic relief . . .)
