Politics is The Art Of The Possible. It is unlikely that there exists a GOP Senator who would both mirror your 2nd Amendment position AND be suitable and electable as Senate Majority Leader.

BTW, which, precisely, of YOUR 2nd Amendment rights were abrogated by any of the above-mentioned bills?

Wir, The above "campaign finance" reform made it unlawful for myself and/or a few friends to pay for commercial advertisement using poitician's positions on issues and namesviolating not only my 2nd amendment rights, but my 1st amendment rights also.

Frist is most likely another landgrabbing, border opening, soldiers all over the world, establishment flack. I have serious doubts as to whether he's ever seen a copy of the U.S. of A. Constitution, let alone having read it before he took an oath to "Uphold and defend" it. Peace and love, George.

Senator Samuel D. 'Sam' Brownback Kansas

2001: Based on the votes that the Gun Owners of America considered to be the most important in 2001, Senator Brownback voted in support of their preferred position 70 percent of the time.

1999: On the votes that the Gun Owners of America considered to be the most important in 1999, Senator Brownback voted their preferred position 60 percent of the time.

No, politics is the art of the disguise. In other words, it is how well you can be perceived to be on all sides of issues at the same time. At least long enough to get voted into power.
