I think that it's safe to say that there are no shortage of evil, low-rent, destructive 'religions' that once held men and women enthralled which are now extinct.
Last I heard, no one's burning babies in Moloch's belly these days. (unless you count abortion as sacrifice to that demon, which may well be an arguable point)
Baal's certainly fallen on hard times. I haven’t even heard of him holding up a cardboard sign, 'Will Work for Worship' under any big city overpasses.
