Certainly some Freeper must know at least one or two employees of GUMC that have worked there long enough to be able to tell us whether this actually happened or not. Far too many people were involved in making this happen, if it did, so it shouldn't be very hard to prove.

Heck, you could probably just cold call the nurses' station on one of the pediatric wards and ask to speak to anyone who's worked there for more than six years.

Not very likely, actually. As someone who has spent 20+ years of his life working in hospitals, that would almost certainly be grounds for instant dismissal for any employee that breathed a word about that or any other matter great or small. Hospitals are constantly asked for information by lawyers, press, inquisitive and estranged family members, and the merely curious. Any information, accurate or inaccurate can be embarassing at best and lead to a multi-million dollar lawsuit at worst. Hospital employees are told to only give out information over the phone to people that truly have a need to know, i.e. doctors, designated family members etc. and to ensure that who they are talking to on the phone are really who they say they are.

If you want, I'm sure you could try the experiment and see ... I think you would be met with a stone wall, if my experience is any guide.

Not that that disproves anything, BTW.
