Cry me a river. For the last 35 years, terrorist acts have been committed against the US by Muslim males. We have a right to demand they register, since they have been one of the biggest offenders of our immigration laws in the past by ignoring visa limits,etc.
These aren't even citizens in many cases. Three thousand dead people on 9/11 was too high a price to pay for our own stupidity--so to register they will go. Tough.
As for Jane Harmen,D-Redondo Beach, you should be ignored like the sycophant you are. You are the setback to the war on terrorism, not this registration process. Idiot.

None of these were citizens as citizens were not required to register. These are aliens in the United States of America and those who were detained were detained because they were not in full compliance with the laws. If anyone had a problem with their visas they should have already been in full contact with the INS and already have cleared up the problem or left the USA while they waited.
