So hypothetically if an individual making a salary of say $25 thou per year gives him $50,000 in campaign contributions, he doesn't think to say, "Hold on a sec, where'd you get this kind of money?"Come on. The guy's a DC politician. Since when does money have to "come from somewhere"?

Well, these were not teachers, who make piddly amounts and then have union dues confiscated from their checks.
These are union officials, who all make over $100,000 / year. Still, when I made very good money, I never thought to donate $50,000 (or whatever) in after tax money to politicians. That's the difference between those who work for a living, and corrupt politicians and corrupt union offcials.
