This is airport security we are talking about,,not the crucial battle in the preservation of the republic.

Its a death of a thousand cuts. A little public school here, a warantless search there, a fraudulent banking system here, a minor suspension of habeus corpus there.

Yes taxes are to high, so is the answer to that to refuse to file a return??

I would prefer to pay taxes the same day we vote (rather than 180 days later). A fee based system would be the most just ( you pay for what you use)

So we aren't telling the Saudis off publicly,,do you claim some inside track on what is going on in private?

We publicly denouced Iran and North Korea. The Saudi, as Bush tells us, are our "friends". How dare you question the Great Leader.

So screening people like me is obviously nutty, we gotta keep the left wing quiet while we try to do this security thing. But keeping the right wing quiet is also gonna take some thinking about.

So, uh, basically, you like authority, see nothing wrong with warrantless searches,don't think our attackers should be openly named, and wish to silence both the left and right? Odd view of a free society you have there.

warrantless search? When you go to an airport, this happens. If you don't want it, don't go. I am suggesting that the left and the right on either end are screamiing constantly about anything that remotely steps on their dearly cherished ideas. yeah, we have to keep them from burning the cities and forming vigilante squads. Mostly we have to fly safely and peacefully. And this jerk didn't make it safer or more peaceful to fly. I like authority, I like peace, I like a safe living environment without gun toting thugs and people who don't have any respect for the rules or the rights of others around them. You prefer anarchy? With you making your own rules? With everyone either declining or permitting searches and screens at airports? It is not going to happen. Hope your head doesn't explode here, but most Americans aren't off in that fringe area of paranoic distrust of authority and institutions.
