You haven't heard their side, you have heard this guy's account of what he says is their side. A world of difference. why do you automatically accept his account.

I have already stated my only reasons:

1) I distrust the government,

2) He said the charges were dropped.

If he's trying to scam people, just how does he think he can pull it off by lying about the charges as well? This can easily be researched and refuted.
