I said "turn and walk away". You changed it to "turn and run from the cops".
I don't disagree, it is probable cause in this example. I think this scenario illustrates a bum system. An unwary person gets stuck with no choice but to bend over and take whatever the LEO decide. Just as the fellow in this original article had all sort of lies told about him by LEO, any other unwary citizen can fall into such a trap. It's wrong, all wrong.
OK, fine. I used slightly different verbiage that had zero impact on the outcome, because the "turn and walk away" option generates the same outcome, except there's a shorter chase.
