I agree, that's why I said it seems to be a self incriminating process for the unwary. Seems wrong to me.

I don't have a lot of sympathy with elitists and their callous disregard of innocent people who have done nothing to harm anyone and intend no harm, and just happen not to know all the latest greatest Statist rules currently on the books.

If they're "innocent," how do the "incriminate" themselves?

Answer: they know that they aren't innocent.

It really isn't that hard to avoid arrest at an airport checkpoint. And it doesn't require someone to be an absolute genius, or to know every jot and tittle of the law.
