I was stranded in the Dominican Republic during 9/11, when all air traffic was shutdown.

I got to see the whole, idiotic security apparatus in action when they opened the airlines and I finally could return home.

I also used to hold an airport security clearance (even to the ramp) and had to escort employees through the secure area.

I know all about it, and nothing you have said justifies what I see in this article.

You may justify these kinds of intrusions to yourself because you are afraid, but don't expect the rest of us to buy in and demand to be strip searched or have our wives felt up just to make you feel "safe"

Now, I hope you remember what you said if your pregnant wife winds up crying while the security pepole are high fiving each other and rating her bustline.

Does anything in the article justify a temper tantrum? How are airports supposed to deal with a guy that is shouting and waving his arms? a grief counselor?
