You're so hard core about this security business. What is so offensive about having your shoes checked for explosives? There was a shoe-bomber, after all. I never said I enjoy this, just that if I'm going to be able to go across country to see family or take a vacation in a warm place, I have to put up with it. I've not been 'abused' and personally know of nobody who has.

Out of the millions of people who go through airport security every year, how many of these stories are there? I bet you could find a similar percentage of people who have been treated poorly by people in all professions.

There have been at least 2 shoe bombers, that being the only rational explanation for the the plane that went down over Rockaway beach.
