Hey, clueless. You get NO guarantee of safety in this life. That's the part you aren't getting. You are depending on the government to keep you safe and it is all an illusion. Did you go to school? Did you study history? Was there ever a society in the history of the world that did not crumble? Was there ever a society in the history of the world where innocents didn't die at the hand of evil?
Only deluded people believe in that which is not possible. Consider yourself one of them.
The TSA and Homeland Security are reactions. Get it? They cannot protect you.
Allow me to posit this:
In a month, not too far in the future, at the opening of a blockbuster movie, a fanactic is going to sit in the middle of a theatre somewhere with C4 strapped to his chest and flip a switch sending a few hundred hundred people to their death. Why? Because it will attack western culture and it will kill an industry. What will be your reaction to the TSA and Homeland Security then? Will you feel that you've been fooled? That maybe, just maybe, the government should have done more? Then shall we deploy the TSA to every movie theatre to prevent it from ever happening again? Again, that is, until the next fanatic does it at a high school basketball game.
Wise up. There is no defense. There is only closing the barn door after the horse is out. You don't have to be Einstein to realize it.
What good is it doing now? Homeland Security is just for show and to make you feel good.
If it had been the law before 9/11 how would it have stopped anything? How will it stop anything now?
