It's not about being superior, but some people ARE more qualified and motivated. If you want to throw out the "superior" red herring, go ahead. I'm a Real Estate agent, and I know, people want to work with the best, and not everyone is, or can be the best. It ain't always fair, but it's REALITY. These people, by and large, are mostly not very motivated and not very qualified.
The fact that they search randomly is proof enough. You search randomly because someone told you to and you aren't smart enough to know any better. If they want to prevent hijackings, you search the guys who've hijacked EVERY plane EVER hijacked. Arabic and/or Muslim men between 18-50 years old.
The very fact that they harassed a pregnant woman tells you everything you need to know about their mentality.
Harrassment? - They patted her down. Is it a baby I am carrying or a basketball full of C4? Is anyone with boobs off limits?
