Why would the screener assume that she was in fact pregnant, a woman, not a danger. Oversize people have opportunity to smuggle all kinds of stuff and good disguises are a dime a dozen. As far as being "white", that is laughable. First, I don't see race mentioned in the article. Second, sympathizers come in all colors.

That's not true. A white or black women has NEVER hyjacked a plane in this country. Nither has a 92 year old women (my mother gets searched every time - we just laugh about it) in a wheelchair or a toddler.(a hyjacker has never brought his family along) Nor has a man over 50 or one with pimples on his face.

It's not realy dificult... Potential teriorists are males of mideastern decent betwen the ages of 18 and 40. Everything else is a waste of time and a joke.

It may be true that targeted screening would not be 100% effective, but it would be a hell of a lot more effective than the way they are doing it today.
