That's for sure. "Sweating" or heating up a copper joint with a small, cheap, MAP torch from Home Depot and letting the soldier melt and seal the joint is not rocket science. The biggest risk is, if you are an idiot and light yourself on fire.

Saw a guy burn down a house under construction while brazing copper pipe.
Kinda funny. He comes running out and then non-chalantly walks away like nothing was wrong...

Agreed, I think copper is an easy material to work with.. perhaps not as easy as PVC, but far more durable, and lets face it, it involves flames and metals with low melting points.... I don't know but sweating a great joint is far more rewarding personally to me than epoxying PVC together :).
