On the West side of the Cascades it be Thurston County, Clallum County, and Skagit County. Swing Counties: Kitsap, Jefferson, and Mason. East of the Cascades is solidly conservative, but not much work.

How far are the east side districts from the city proper? And how are housing costs? I'm a freelance writer so I can, thankfully, live just about anywhere.
